Our Story
Paul OβBrien and Gabriela Cristea founded Sunflour Bakery in 2013 and opened its doors in December of that year. They had both previously worked together for Degustibus in Borough Market, London Bridge.
Their idea is to bring Artisan Bread and homemade food to Caledonian Road. Paul has been baking for over 30 years and Gabriela has an extensive background in cooking, baking cakes and is very passionate about cooking various cuisines.
All bread and cakes are made fresh onsite and we supply local restaurants and cafes daily. Soups and stews are made from scratch and all meat is sourced from Smithfield Market.
We specialise in all types of private and corporate catering and make bespoke birthday, wedding and other celebration cakes to order.
